6. Product Information
RMJ Jewellers makes reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, weights, prices and specifications displayed on the Website are accurate. However, customers acknowledge that:
- Jewellery may be handcrafted and therefore minor variations may occur.
- Natural gemstones may vary in colour, clarity, shape, size and inclusions.
- Natural diamonds may contain characteristics and inclusions inherent to their natural formation.
- Product photographs may appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography and the customer’s screen or device.
- Images may be enlarged for demonstration purposes.
- Actual product size should be determined from the dimensions mentioned on the relevant product page.
Minor variations that arise from the natural characteristics of gemstones or handcrafted manufacturing shall not automatically be considered defects.
7. Pricing
All prices displayed on the Website are subject to change without prior notice. Jewellery prices may be affected by fluctuations in:
- Gold prices;
- Silver prices;
- Diamond prices;
- Gemstone prices;
- Making charges;
- Taxes;
- Currency exchange rates; and
- Other market conditions.
RMJ Jewellers reserves the right to correct any pricing, typographical, technical or system errors appearing on the Website. If an order has been placed at an incorrectly displayed price due to a technical or system error, RMJ Jewellers reserves the right to cancel the order and provide an appropriate resolution in accordance with applicable law. Unless otherwise stated, prices are fixed and are not negotiable. Applicable taxes and other charges will be communicated/displayed as applicable at the time of purchase.
8. Precious Metal & Jewellery Details
The metal composition and purity of each jewellery piece will be mentioned in the respective product description, invoice or applicable certificate, wherever relevant. Customers are advised to carefully read the product description before placing an order. Different components of a jewellery piece may be made using different materials depending upon the design and manufacturing requirements. Where applicable, details regarding metal purity, net metal weight, gemstone details, diamond details, product dimensions, certification and other relevant specifications will be provided with the product or on the Website.
9. Variation in Weight & Dimensions
The weight and dimensions displayed on the Website are based on manufacturing specifications and may have minor variations due to the handcrafted nature, finishing process and manufacturing tolerances. Where applicable, the final invoice will reflect the actual applicable product details. Natural gemstones may vary in colour, cut, shape, size and inclusions. Such variations are natural characteristics and may make individual pieces unique. Customers should refer to the product description for the stated dimensions and specifications before placing an order.
10. Colour & Size Variations
Jewellery may appear slightly different in size, colour, texture or finish due to photography, lighting, camera settings, screen resolution and device display settings. RMJ Jewellers makes reasonable efforts to display products as accurately as possible but cannot guarantee that the colour displayed on every device will exactly match the physical product.
11. Certificates & Authenticity
Where applicable, jewellery may be accompanied by relevant certificates, authenticity documents, hallmarking information or other documentation as specified in the product description or invoice. Certification details may vary depending on the type of jewellery, precious metal, gemstone or diamond involved. Customers should refer to the product description and invoice for the specific certification applicable to their purchase.
12. Orders
Customers may place an order by selecting the desired product, adding it to the shopping cart and completing the checkout and payment process. An order shall generally be considered confirmed only after: (1) required customer information has been provided; (2) payment has been successfully received; and (3) RMJ Jewellers has accepted/confirmed the order. RMJ Jewellers reserves the right to contact the customer for order verification where necessary. For purchases where applicable laws require PAN, identification or other documentation, the customer shall provide the required information/documents.
13. Payment
Payments shall be made through the payment methods made available on the Website. These may include applicable credit cards, debit cards, UPI, net banking, payment wallets or other authorised payment methods. The customer is responsible for all applicable taxes and charges communicated at checkout. RMJ Jewellers does not ask customers to disclose OTPs, PINs, CVV numbers, passwords or other confidential banking credentials.
14. Cancellation Policy
Once an order has been placed with an advance payment or full payment, the order cannot ordinarily be cancelled, particularly where the product has entered production, procurement, customisation or processing. This is because jewellery may be specially manufactured, customised or procured against a specific order. In exceptional circumstances, RMJ Jewellers may consider a cancellation request at its sole discretion. Where a cancellation is approved, RMJ Jewellers may provide an appropriate resolution depending on the stage of the order, including a credit note or gift voucher, after considering applicable costs already incurred.
15. No Return & No Exchange Policy
All sales are final. RMJ Jewellers follows a strict No Return and No Exchange policy. Products purchased through the Website cannot be returned or exchanged due to:
- Change of mind;
- Personal preference;
- Incorrect size selected by the customer;
- Change in design preference;
- Change in colour preference;
- Jewellery no longer being required;
- Purchase made by mistake; or
- Any other reason unrelated to a verified manufacturing defect or incorrect product supplied by RMJ Jewellers.
Customers are therefore requested to carefully review the product description, dimensions, size, metal details, gemstone details and other specifications before placing an order. No return or exchange shall be accepted without the original invoice and prior written approval from RMJ Jewellers. Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
16. Damage / Incorrect Product Claims
RMJ Jewellers takes reasonable care in quality checking and securely packaging jewellery before dispatch. If a customer receives a product that appears to be damaged, defective or different from the product ordered, the customer must notify RMJ Jewellers within 24 hours of delivery. A valid claim should include:
- Order/invoice number;
- Clear photographs of the jewellery;
- Clear photographs/videos of the packaging;
- A complete and uninterrupted unboxing video showing the package from the time it is received/opened; and
- Any other information reasonably requested by RMJ Jewellers.
Damage claims without adequate video/photo evidence may not be accepted. After receiving the claim, RMJ Jewellers may inspect the product and packaging to determine the cause and extent of the issue. If the issue is verified to be attributable to RMJ Jewellers or transit damage, RMJ Jewellers may, at its discretion and subject to applicable law, offer an appropriate resolution such as repair, replacement or another suitable remedy.
17. Shipping & Delivery
Unless otherwise specified, orders will be processed and dispatched according to the timeline mentioned on the relevant product page or communicated at the time of purchase. Made-to-order or customised jewellery may require additional manufacturing time. Ready-to-ship products may be dispatched within a shorter timeframe. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary depending on product availability, manufacturing requirements, customisation, delivery location, courier operations, weather, public holidays, government restrictions, customs clearance and other circumstances beyond RMJ Jewellers’ reasonable control. Once dispatched, customers may receive applicable tracking details.
18. Shipping Address
Customers are responsible for providing accurate name, mobile number, email address, billing address and shipping address. RMJ Jewellers shall not be responsible for delays, failed delivery or additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer. If a shipment is returned due to an incorrect address, refusal to accept delivery, repeated failed delivery attempts or customer unavailability, additional shipping charges may apply for re-dispatch.
19. International Orders
RMJ Jewellers may offer international shipping to selected destinations. International customers are responsible for complying with the laws and regulations of their destination country. Any applicable customs duties, import duties, local taxes, brokerage charges, clearance charges or other government levies shall be borne by the customer unless specifically stated otherwise at the time of purchase. Customs rules vary by country and RMJ Jewellers cannot guarantee clearance by any particular country’s customs authority. If a shipment is returned to India because the customer refuses to pay applicable customs duties or fails to complete customs formalities, any resulting costs, losses or charges may be borne by the customer, subject to applicable law.
20. Delivery & Identity Verification
For security purposes, the delivery partner or RMJ Jewellers may request reasonable identification or verification at the time of delivery where required. Customers should provide only the information reasonably required for delivery verification. RMJ Jewellers will not request confidential banking credentials such as OTPs, PINs, CVV numbers or passwords for delivery.
21. Insurance
Where transit insurance is arranged by RMJ Jewellers, such insurance shall generally apply only during transit and until delivery/acceptance of the package, subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant insurance/courier provider. After delivery, the customer is responsible for the safe custody and care of the jewellery.
22. Jewellery Care
Jewellery should be handled carefully to maintain its appearance and condition. Customers should:
- Store jewellery in the box or pouch provided.
- Keep individual pieces separately to prevent scratches and tangling.
- Store jewellery in a dry and cool place.
- Keep jewellery away from direct sunlight and excessive moisture.
- Avoid contact with perfumes, deodorants, cosmetics, chemicals and household cleaning products.
- Remove jewellery before bathing, swimming, exercising or performing manual/domestic work.
- Avoid exposing jewellery to excessive impact or pressure.
- Clean jewellery only using appropriate methods recommended for the particular jewellery type.
Silver and plated jewellery may naturally tarnish or change appearance over time due to exposure to air, moisture, chemicals, perspiration and other environmental factors. Normal wear and tear, tarnishing, scratches and loss of polish are not necessarily manufacturing defects.
23. Repair Policy
RMJ Jewellers may provide repair services for eligible jewellery purchased from RMJ Jewellers. Before sending jewellery for repair, the customer must contact RMJ Jewellers and obtain instructions/approval. After receiving the jewellery, RMJ Jewellers may inspect the product and determine whether repair is technically possible, the cause and extent of damage, required materials, labour involved and applicable repair charges. A repair quotation may be provided before repair work begins. Repair work shall generally commence only after the customer’s approval of the applicable charges. Unless otherwise agreed, the customer shall be responsible for applicable shipping and insurance costs for sending the product to RMJ Jewellers and receiving it after repair. Damage caused by misuse, accidental impact, chemicals, third-party repairs, unauthorised alterations or normal wear and tear may be chargeable.
24. Custom & Made-to-Order Jewellery
Custom and made-to-order jewellery is produced according to customer requirements. This may include size changes, design modifications, engraving, personalisation, metal changes, gemstone changes, special measurements or other approved modifications. Once production has commenced, customised or made-to-order jewellery cannot ordinarily be cancelled, returned or exchanged. The customer is responsible for confirming all specifications before production begins.
25. Offers & Promotions
Unless specifically stated otherwise: promotional offers cannot be combined with other offers; offers cannot be exchanged for cash; promotional discounts cannot be transferred; RMJ Jewellers reserves the right to modify or withdraw an offer; certain products may be excluded from promotional offers; and additional terms may apply to individual offers. The specific terms displayed with an offer shall prevail in case of any inconsistency.
26. Postponement of Delivery
If a customer requests postponement of delivery after the product has been completed or is ready for dispatch, RMJ Jewellers may consider the request subject to operational feasibility. Where applicable, any balance payment must be made within the period communicated by RMJ Jewellers. If dispatch is postponed at the customer’s request and the applicable precious metal rate increases before the revised dispatch date, RMJ Jewellers may charge the applicable difference where such adjustment was communicated and agreed as part of the order terms. This clause shall not apply to delays caused by circumstances beyond the customer’s reasonable control.
27. User Registration & Information
Where registration is required, customers must provide accurate, complete and current information.
